Hi,

I'm Casey Anderson and I am a junior interior Design student at Appalachian State University. I am an ambassador for the program and I am also a student member of IIDA.  While my path to design was not a directly intentional one, I have since become infatuated with it. I love design because it has so much impact on the way we think, feel, and act in a way that we don't immediately notice. Design has a lot of unspoken power and thats what I find so beautiful and intriguing about it.  As a designer my philosophy not only subscribes to aesthetics but also to function.  I have a special interest in restaurant, retail, and set design.

Outside of my life as a student designer I enjoy drawing, painting, listening to music and spending time with my friends, my cats, and my amazing family.
